3. Estimates and Pricing
Free estimates are provided for most projects. Final pricing is determined based on:
- Scope of work required
- Materials and equipment needed
- Labor hours and complexity
- Emergency service premiums (if applicable)
- Permit fees and inspection costs
All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if project scope changes or unforeseen issues are discovered.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept:

- Electronic payment methods
For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins. Outstanding balances not paid within 30 days may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month (18% APR) or the maximum rate allowed by law.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment:
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a $75 cancellation fee
- Emergency service calls cannot be rescheduled without penalty
- For projects requiring deposits, cancellation terms will be outlined in your service agreement
6. Warranty
We stand behind our work. Our warranty includes:
- Labor Warranty: 1 year on all workmanship
- Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and materials
- Installation Warranty: Installation defects covered for the duration of the labor warranty period
Warranties are void if:
- Unauthorized modifications are made
- The system is damaged by negligence or misuse
- Natural disasters, acts of God, or circumstances beyond our control occur
- Payment has not been made in full
7. Limitation of Liability
GA Electric Services shall not be liable for:
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
- Damage to property that occurs as a result of pre-existing conditions
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Issues arising from work performed by other contractors
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our business operations.
8. Property Access
By hiring our services, you grant us permission to:
- Access your property to perform the agreed-upon work
- Shut off power when necessary for safety
- Move items as needed to access work areas (with care)
- Take photographs of work areas for documentation
You are responsible for ensuring pets are secured and valuable items are protected before our arrival.
9. Permits and Inspections
When required by law, we will:
- Obtain necessary electrical permits
- Schedule required inspections
- Ensure work complies with local building codes
Permit fees are typically additional charges unless specified otherwise in your estimate.
10. Emergency Services
24/7 emergency services are available for urgent electrical issues. Emergency service rates apply for:
- After-hours calls (weeknights after 6pm)
- Weekend and holiday service
- Immediate response requests
Emergency services are charged at premium rates, typically 1.5x to 2x regular rates depending on time and circumstances.
11. Website Use
